Summary:
The Process Optimization Associate Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives within Global Patient Operations that result in long-term operational gains to quality, customer service and cost.
This role requires a high degree of independence, leadership and planning capability, as well as extensive knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.
Patient Operations manage and orchestrate the time critical, end to end, patient cell supply chain for all BMS cellular therapy products, globally.

Responsibilities:
Establish clear strategic goals/objectives for the process optimization team that are linked to the overall company strategy.
Coach and mentor team and project leads from across GPO.
Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across Patient Operations to ensure compliant and scalable processesIdentify and drive regional and global Patient Operations business process optimization and process transfer, building flexible solutions that streamline workflows and leverage tech capabilities to meet long term employee and business needs.
Identify, reproduce and solve challenging operational issues Facilitate Patient Operations governance to enhance on-going project visibility, prioritization and resource utilization.
Lead change management oversight and facilitation to ensure consistent, accurate and timely coordination and assessment impact across site and global change control.
Develop and bring forward metrics to measure process quality and efficiency, to define progress and ultimate successDrive Chain of Identity (COI) policy, risk assessment and verification across Cell Therapy, including filing and audit support to mitigate the risk of patient material mix-up across end to end treatment journey.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience driving material and lasting operational improvements for an organization and mentoring process improvement initiatives, preferably on a national or global scale.
Experience in regulated environment preferred, ideally healthcare knowledgeCertified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Lean Sensei, Kaizen certification or Quality Engineer preferredExtensive knowledge of lean principles, tools and techniques to reduce and eliminate waste for process and systematic simplification and standardization.
At least 3 years of people management and team building experience; delivering results through influence, coaching and collaboration with excellent verbal and written communication skillsProcess-oriented with strong analytical skills for risk identification and managementAbility to travel up to 20%The starting compensation for this job is a range from $149,000-$188,000 , plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
