Role:
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead various software development initiatives and to oversee and improve our processes for systematic trading. We are looking for a hands-on leader, whose time will be evenly split between their own development work and leading/managing various projects. This person will also serve as a mentor to junior members of our technology team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Technology Requirements:
Highly proficient: Java / C++
Additional: Python, Hadoop, Cloud Computing
Top-rate managerial and leadership skills; team oriented
Strong communication / coordination capabilities
Result driven and able to lead team to meet deadlines
Clear understanding of software development process
Work
Experience: 5-10 years of professional experience
Prior experience with software development and operation for complicated systems or workflow is essential. Previous experience in the financial industry is a big plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
