PD Athletic Trainer
OverviewOverlook Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a PD Athletic Trainer to become a part of the Rehab Team.Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Selected candidate will be qualified and experienced NATABOC certified athletic trainer licensed in the state of NJ by the Board of Medical Examiners. Candidates with weekday availability preferred due to the increase of requests for our staff. Weekend coverages are also a necessary component of the position. Events may include high school sports, community college games, elite soccer academy games/training sessions, youth and adult rugby, youth football, as well as tournaments of various sporting events. A plan of care through our supervising physician as well as athletic training supplies and medical record documentation has been established
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelors or Master's Entry level degree in Athletic Training
Required License:
NJ Athletic Trainer Licensed
Certifications:
NATABOC Certified
