OverviewOverlook Medical Center isseeking aFull-time Registered Nursefor the Cardiac Care Unitworking primarily 7:00PM- 7:30 AM including weekends as needed.Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for the critically ill cardiovascular medical and surgical patients.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the Cardiac Care Unit patient population served and their families.
Candidate will develop and maintain all required competencies related to the care and management of the Critical Care Unit patient population.
Candidate must be able to function within an integrated Health Care System to provide responsible, professional critical care nursing care.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Education:
BSN Preferred
Required Licenses:
Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required
Certifications:
BLS Required
ACLS Required
Specialty Certification:
CCRN Preferred

Experience:
At Least 1 Year of Acute Care Cardiac/Telemetry or Critical Care Experience as a Registered Nurse
